Gigi, Nonoy and Em are in Grand Canyon.
Angie decided to drive ourselves to LA. Las Vegas to LA is 260 miles and I drove the whole length of it. My first time behind a wheel in the US was driving at 80 mph in the interstate freeway. Nerve wracking! Big trucks running fast on both sides with equally fast cars zipping in and out of their lanes. That's a six lane freeway one direction. Another merit badge - LA Freeway Driver (Kym & Boi2, no PS3 game can beat that). When we got to LA, we got lost. Had to doubleback for an hour before getting to our destination. Inday Raagas, our gracious guide, toured us around the city.
First stop was the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels. Went around the city for the usual tourist landmarks. Had some pictures taken at the Walk of Fame. Drove past Rodeo Drive.
We were able to start the trip back at 8pm. We arrived at 1130pm in time to pickup Gigi's group from their Grand Canyon trip.
