One word = GELATO. Last night when I asked my good friend Amber to tell me her favorite thing about Florence, she quickly replied, "I think they had the best gelato." We share a passion for good ice cream, so I knew I had to try this gelato that she spoke so highly about. Well, she could not have been more right. It was like a big party in my mouth! The bruschetta and cannoli were also amazing. I know I will break my daily budget for food while in Italy, but quite honestly I don't care at the moment. I am planning on indulging in meatballs, lasagna, a lot of cappuccino, and even more gelato. Because really, why not? Before I know it I will be back home in Pennsylvania riding the stationary bike at the gym and thinking, "that Italian food was so worth it!"
