Hi everyone, Kp seems to have filled you all in on everything that's happened so far (in her usual charming manner!) Needless to say we're having a fantastic time despite the CRAZY singaporian people... such as the old lady in Maccie D's (which... btw we have only visted once, and that's because it costs like 1 pound for a meal deal.) Time is running out on this cyber cafe thing so must go but thanks for all the messages!
Mum and Dad- love you lots and thank you sooooo much, glad the sofa is to satisfactory standard!
Big Sis- where are all my messages? KP's siblings write to her!
The rest of you crazy lot- wish you were here!
All my love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

PS Loving that guitar will, maybe you could pick me up a bass while you're at it? Mwhahahahahaaa

OK, would like to point out that maacy ds and starbucks do seem to play a massive part in the culture of singapore, at least it must do as they are staring at us on every corner, and you'll be glad to know that infact there are some cultural differences to be learned in the comparison of the english macdonalds to the british: a) Here we have sampled cappucino and oreo mcflurrys, and a "prosperity beef" Meal deal, which is a very special chinese cuisine, plus the dining experience is very different when a 100 yr old lady serves coke mixed with lemon by mistake and actually samples the fries before selling them. But, we have had a cultural experience in the form of chinatown where we ate at a fantastic restaurant and had real chinese food, that cost about 9 squids a head and we ate much like kings, georgie braved a very spicy chicken dish that actually made you feel like you had eaten fire then proceeded to light a firework on your tongue, but was still yummy. we are working up to trying jellyfish which seems to be a specialty here (or least before we go im going to trick georgie into eating some) we also purchased a few small items at the market there, which was dirt cheap. We managed to squeeze in a few singapore slings at the raffles hotel before the day was done, which was soooo good. Many free peanuts to munch on aswell, and the tradition is to discard the empty shells on the floor, which felt so wrong and yet was so good. I kept waiting for georgie to slip on the shells and hopefully create a comedy-esque situation, but alas, no such luck. I reckon we might go to the old zoo today as its a wee bit cloudy so less hot... Maybe I'll be able to leave georgie with the monkeys, who knows... Either way, its great to log on here and see all the messages, keep posting, love you all as much as cappucino mcflurrys xKPx

sounds cool out there, nothing has happened here, i dont think i've actually moved since you went and im actually thinking someone has superglued the laptop to me. Then after the power down, i almost topped myself kos the interenet died!!! No, im joking, ......cough......., i saw Max B yesterday , we went to a driving range which was actually the funniest time ive had for ages haha, the golfers got really angry at us! then Max didnt put the basket into the ball dispensing machine and they went everywhere!!! We watched Open Water, which by the people is not as good as people say, and really not scary!
Katherine, guess what!!! Well actually dont kos you'll never guess...NEW GUITAR ON FRIDAY!!!! Me and max wen to Andertons to check it out!! Ok, below im going to try and post a picture, if it doesnt work it will look weird! its a picture of one of the guitars i may get (Fender Custom FMT HH Tele!)
So, here I am in freezing New York, earning an honest crust to pay for KP's Uni costs and I read that she is lolling about drinking sing slings in 30c heat! I must have done something wrong, but I'll figure it out! I did manage to visit central park at 0700 this morning to view the display of orange curtains from Brentford Nylons, but, apart from that high spot in my day, the drudge of work continues unabated.
