It was good to read some new news, talking of which, PLEASE change the location on your home page and add some photos. Alice wants to know if the filling in the sandwich (consumed by the black swan) was duck. If it was, you may have been encouraging a form of cannibalism, albeit with one distant relative eating parts of the other.
It's snowing in Surrey, so the Surrey wives are doing 2 mph in their fancy 4X4's, panicking about slipping off the road.
Other news: Ellie hates water-mum took her swimming and she wet herself, so to speak.
Al has flu
LYL and phone, please.

Let's get the all important question asked shall we...have you seen any Aussie surfers yet? Because according to all good sources regarding Australia (namely Neighbours and Home & Away), Australia is RENOWNED for attractive tanned males. They should be easy to find, just head in the direction of the beach. Let me know when you have located them. xxx

alright kiddies, seems as though the old parental factors have taken over this site so though i would spice things up and check up on my two puppies at the same time, mates just so you know, i sent that goose over there to eat your sandwhich. I trained it at the webb acadamy for extra-ordinarily talented animals - former pupils include, candy (stink bomb) webb, puska (puma posh cat) webb, amber (deceptively dumb) webb and orlando (puss in boots i will kill you if you touch me with just one of those fingers) webb, one time summer school students include, the goose, ellie (authodentist) patrick and cranny (clickety clackity claw) hood. - just thought i should let you know that you cannot escape the webbs contacts, i am always ther, in the corner....eating your sandwhiches...

Sounds like you had an encounter with a Black Swan - warning they're natives of NZ!

Yep, mainly what geeorgie said. It was a filth pit and ive never felt so unwelcome in any place in my whole life. We actually ran away to the now paradise that is the greenhouse, what a major improvement. We did a touristy thing today, involving the botanical gardens, which is beautiful and free ! Followed by an accidental trip to the shrine, a massive world war memorial, which is quite breath taking. OOH Dear lord, the most hilarious thing happened whilst georgie and myself were enjoying a small luncheon in the cafe in the gardens. Very casually this 18 foot goose strolled up to our table. Imagine, its an aussie goose, as black as black, not your charming white british breed. So it wanders up our table, we panic and it basically takes a massive bite of my sandwich, before dragging it onto the floor and consuming it very maliciously. G and I run in a blind panic, she manages to salvage her sandwich whilst the yoghurts we bought were left to the devices of the goose. Quite a kerfuffle to say the least. We refused to stroll by any lakes or puddles for the rest of the day. Pure evil.

Wait 'til its your daughter!
Got the impression KP was doing a re-think about when to call once they had registered what most of us would be doing at that hour of the day! Happily Muriel was on an early shift. No doubt we will hear they have arrived in Melbourne at about 0330hrs UK local.

Clan Hood-KP deigned to call yesterday, so we got the full update! We enjoyed the 'Hooters' picture!

For Clan Patrick - spoke to Georgie at 7 a.m. Sunday - seems our daughters did not learn much arithmetic at skool...... they thought it was 11 a.m. here. Anyway, can report KP alive, well and noisy in the background!
