Hey everyone, we had a great time at universal studios. Especially the new simpsons ride, it was a simulator that takes place at crusty's theme park and some evil guy is trying to kill them. It was really fun. We went on the jurassic park ride, Which was very wet. We saw terminator 2 in 3D and shrek in 4D. The best part of the day was a show called waterworld. There is a set on a swimming pool and actors that act out a battle and everyone in the audience got absolutely drenched, so much fun. We also went on a universal studios tour. We didn't see anything being filmed but we saw the areas that they use in the films, they just dress it up with some props and it can be anywhere in the world. We saw where they filmed the port royal scenes from pirates of the caribbean.

That was the boys last day with us so we went out for a nice meal in the evening, which mike very kindly paid for. The next morning jo drove them to the car hire place so they could pick up their car and drive back to san francisco.

We had a fairly quiet day, i wrote and sent home 11 postcards. Then we walked 10 mins down our road to a place called the farmers market. Just a really nice outdoor shopping centre with a fountain and stuff. We had lunch, did a bit of shopping, watched prince caspian, and then had dinner at the cheesecake factory.

Yesterday we dropped off the car and then flew to toronto, mum's friend barbara and her husband jim picked us up from the airport and took us back to their home in burlington, which is really nice. It's the first time in 4 1/2 months that i have had a room all to myself. We had dinner and then watched a rather embarrassing video of when they came to stay with us when i was 7.

Today we got up quite early and went to see niagra falls, they are breath-taking and the weather was really good. We went on a boat called 'maid of the mist' to get closer to the falls, of course you get a lot wetter too. We also walked along a tunnel behind the falls. Very wet and very noisy.

Not really sure what else we have planned, definitely want to go into toronto on one day, might be going to a music festival with a couple of barbara's friends sons on friday.
