Hey everyone. Hope you are all well.

Our tour of san diego was good, we went to la jolla (pronouned hoya) beach and took some pics, had a nice lunch, its like the beverly hills of san diego. Then we went to some military place, there was a memorial statue there for the first european guy who landed on the west coast of what is now the states. Then we went to the gas lamp quarter in the centre of san diego and we saw the harbour on the way. We were quite knackered by the time we got back.

Our first day back in LA we walked all the way to hollywood blvd and took far too many pics of stars with people's names in. We also got conned into doing a stars homes tour for $20, all we saw was the gate to their property or a tree, i can't even remember which house belongs to which celeb from my pics. The guy that sold it to us said we would get the best pic of the hollywood sign.....you can barely see it. In the evening we had free burgers at our hostel and then we went to a bar/club with some others from our hostel. It was a nice place but the drinks were quite pricey.

Yesterday we got up quite late, i went and got a haircut and then we walked back to hollywood blvd to go on a tour of the kodak theatre but we had missed the last one. So we did a bit of shopping, then we walked to a cinema and me and jo saw sex and the city and the boys saw kung fu panda, then we had dinner and got a cab back to the hostel.

This morning jo drove us to the kodak theatre and we did the tour (where the oscars are hosted). It was quite a good tour but you weren't allowed to take pics which sucks. Then we drove closer to the hollywood sign and got a decent picture. Then we drove to santa monica beach, it took a long time, there was a gay pride fair on santa monica blvd so we had to do a detour and there are so many traffic lights, we were stopping every 7 seconds. The beach was nice, absolutely enormous. And there was a pier but we will be getting enough roller coasters tomorow, going to universal studios. Might go and see prince caspian tonight.
