Well its 530 am and we are about to dock into Devonport, it is currently 8 degrees outside and it looks to have been raining, the sailing wasnt too bad, started out fairly smooth but we were woken at about 1130pm as the toilet door flew open and we were being tossed around in our beds, we had all taken sea sickness medication and drifted back off to sleep pretty quickly, there was a fair bit of rocing and rolling through the night but we survived ok and are now just having breakfast before we disembark, go through Quarrantine and head home.......
We are now home it is 1045am and the weather is a bit...... cold....... we got hail and heavy rain and this looks set in for the next few days, oh well we couldnt have asked for better weather whilst we were travelling it was superb. We have travelled just over 7100 kms since we left here on the 30th August, the kids have travelled amazingly welll given how many times we packed unpacked and repacked, so we will deinitely be doing something similar again.
Highlights, there are plenty, lowlights.....Tamworth diidnt really appeal to us, we only stopped in for an overnight sleep and the motel was dingy....anyway that was alwys on the cards given the different number of places we were staying, it is nice to be home.....albeit cold...we are looking forwward to a quite day tomorrow (Monday) before getting back into the routine of school from Tuesday.
Look forward to seeing you all soon and sharing our amazing photos and stories with you all.
