Darren I'm so glad to hear you are looking for better accommodation, I sent Kirsty a mesage to say to put safety over cost!!! You will be best where there are other people about and it's not so rough! Take care, love Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ook- finally started catching up on my blog. So far I've finished writing up my final days at the school- 27th, 28th and 29th June. I accidentally wrote my last post as being on 29th July, which was obviously meant to be 29th June. Enjoy. xx

Hi Kirsty and Darren! Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. Was really jealous of the elephant trek (I want to do that!!!!) The photos are amazing.....please keep them coming! ....well maybe not anymore spider ones! Just wondering how long it took you, Darren, to suss out the lady boys! Its definately quieter here than in Bangkok, Spent Fri afternoon through in Glasgow, catching up with Kerry before she and Scott fly out to Canada on Sunday. Don't worry won't be completely on my own.. am babysitting the gerbils, much to Bob's excitment. better go now as I'm working on 20 mins. Haha Sarah, thanks for that analergy of my peelage. Arrived in Bangkok 2day- on Koh San Road (sp?)- tis actually crazy but immense. Lovin it- might get on my nerves after a day or so though. Darren witnessed his first Lady Boys to his disgust, highly amusing. Found an alright place to stay for an alright price. Too funny- on the hotel's rules sheet it lists all these regulations about allowing people to stay in your room- ie, no Thai people are allowed in the hotel unless they are married to the foreigner staying and have a joint passport with them, if someone decided to bring anyone back to their room, they have to show their passport at reception and can only stay a certain time and if they want to stay the night, they have to pay reception a rediculous price. Tis so funny- so no worries mum- its been made quite clear to us that we are NOT staying in a Brothal! I'm thinking police have prob cracked down on all that jazz recently. It's not as much as a dive as I thought. Tis deff 'In your face' but tis bearable and buzzing. Just had a thai massage and its 12.45am so we're feeling a bit out of it and sleepy so off to bed! xx

Greetins Krusty Pumpkin, from India! I arrived the day after the terrorist attacks...thankfully to Delhi (well I say thankfully, but it's not a nice place as an intro to India) instead of Mumbai. Anyway, thankfully I didn't have to face the filth, rapists and general scariness alone, as I found a Polish dude fresh off the plane from Europe, and took him under my wing, it being his first time in Asia and all. After 4 days together, he is fully doing my head in but thank God we part ways tomorrow...I'm heading up to the *cold* Himalayas and will in a few days hopefully meet up with a guy from school. India is nuts that's all I can say...
Anyway the cheek of me waffling about myself, enough about me sorry! Hope you enjoyed the diving although shame about the sharks...must be to Darren's relief though. Oooh meeting up with Georgie and Chez, well send them my love yeah =) Knew that your spendaholic ways would catch up with you sooner or later...time for you to proper do it shoestring style! Take care, don't peel on the beach again like us fannies in Nha Trang, and enjoy your travels babe 'cause before we know it it'll be back to the real world and sitting gormlessly in front of Physiology textbooks thicker than my ever-expanding thighs...(Indian food is ''immense'') x x x

Knackered. Early 5.30am start this morning to hit the reefs for a couple of dives. No sharks though-absolutely gutted. 5m bad boys have been spotted in the last few days but cause the waves are rough due to the full moon, they got scared away. Heading to Bangkok tomorrow morning, spending a few days there, then to Koh Chang to chill. Hopefully will then make it up to Chiang Mai for a few days. Right, off to meet up with Gorgie and Chez @ their pad in Koh Tao (they arrived yesterday). x
