CONGRATULATIONS Susy for climbing it!! Must have been nasty! How was the top? I really wana climb it at some point. Bet it was chilly tho! Also a biiiiig THANK YOU for my birthday money- a card will be winging it's way to you shortly- I won't get to a post box until I get to the airport on Thursday. Sorry I've not been in touch in a while - no internet at home, grr..... Well, I said I'd keep you updated on my summer plans.....have just spent 3 weeks clearing out a library in TLA at Edin uni, working on the same corridor as my aunt and uncle...hence I got offered the job. Am now looking through the EF Leaders manual and getting increasingly scared......they've offered me 5 weeks (ie. the whole of July) based in Edinburgh - taking foreign kids on trips, teaching them English, and generally helping run summer camps. Only got the contract yesterday, I start in a week....no idea what's expected of me or what I'm supposed to be doing there.......all very worrying.....Then I'm doing community radio again (probably - cos I won't be around to do any planning meetings or anything!), then I'm going down to Somerset to Soul Survivor - christian youth events week thingy (note to self - ask Mr Richie if I can borrow a tent...) with a friend from York, then hanging around in York to catch up with some other friends, then visiting a friend on her farm in Norfolk with a friend from Glasgow sometime in September, making sure I'm around to watch my sisters drown onboard the Titanic (their latest drama show), and at some point I need to restart driving lessons and resit my test (4th time!) and I need to pop in to visit Care in the Community.....all very busy, utterly mad trying to work everything out....can't wait! :-) And tomorrow I'm off through to Glasgow cos my Grandpa is getting some sort of presentation at church for retiring after being a decon for 60 years - which means I have to miss a friend in Dundee's baptism.....like I said, all very busy and chaotic, I love it! Hope you (had) an amazing birthday! Do they still do birthday cakes etc. out there???
