Little Kirsty Ventures to Pastures New
Slept in and really spent the day chilling by the pool. Had a lovely lunch by the pool and a couple of ridiculously priced and sized (teensy) cocktails that contained nothing but various types of alcohol. Darren had an "Edinburgh" cocktail, which we were surprised to see on the menu! Twas a nice relaxing day. As the sun made it's way down, we went for a splash in the waves. What a sight- numerous backpackers frolicking in the waves throwing a ball about as the sun began to set. Absolute paradise, not a worry in the world- just a ball, the sea, and the sun. I don't think anyone really knew anyone, but still, the banter was flowing and everyone had the cheesiest grins on their faces for good reason. Twas just a fab moment splashing around. Once dried off, we went back to "Nature Rocks" for dinner. The wind fairly picked up and a drizzle started so we took a seat inside, in front of a projector screen to watch "Munik" over dinner. I was feeling increasingly worried about the storm that seemed to be brewing outside and had uneasy thought of a repeat tsunami. Koh Chang brought the first of my Tsunami worries to light and it was not a nice feeling. We stayed for most of the film before retiring to our reassuringly solidly built hotel.
