The weather has been a bit rubbish the last couple of days! Yesterday it rained nearly all day! I went for a walk to a market but it was a real hippy market do I didn't buy anything. I had to walk through china town to get there which was pretty cool.

Being sunday it was open mic night again at the hostel! It was much better this week though. There were some really good singers and only 2 comedians that weren't too bad!!

I met a girl from Hamilton, New Zealand which is close to where I'll be living. She won't be there though she's travelling with her boyfriend and they have their working holiday visas here!

Today has been really cold but it didn't rain! I went to Toronto islands which was cool I got the ferry across and walked from one end to about half way where they had a farm and mini fun fair! It was pretty cool.

I got an email from the Jeff the manager at the hostel in ottawa. He wanted me to go to the dry cleaners and get them to look at my bag and coat so I went to 3 and they said they would have to send my bag off which isn't helpful!! I emailed Jeff back and we ended up speaking on the phone. He was really nice and he is going to refund me the nights accommodation I stayed plus an extra night. I can't really argue with that! I've actually managed to get most of the paint off my coat just not my backpack which is a little annoying!! Maybe once I'm home I'll be able to find a away to get rid of the paint!!

I'm off to Calgary tomorrow which I'm looking forward to! Hopefully I'm going to visit spruce meadows while I'm there!
