So I keep thinking of things to say but didn't want to over load my Facebook friends with updates so thought the best thing to do was to start a blog!!

Here goes....

Let's start with iceland! My friend Elin picked me up from the airport and we headed straight to The Blue Lagoon! What a great way to start my trip! It was freezing outside but the water was nice and warm. We had a free mud mask and my skin felt so lovely and soft after! There was a bar in the lagoon and you could have beer wine even champagne! I just had a frozen juice drink it was nice and refreshing! There was a sauna and steam room but I got far to hot in the steam room and only lasted about a minute!! There was also a little waterfall and if you stood under it it gave you a great massage!

We spent about 3 hours there it was bliss. They had a little shop but it was soooo expensive and as it was the first day of my trip I didn't buy anything! It just means I'll have to go back!

Pizza was for dinner that night then back to Elins appartment which was lovely really big and she had a really cool fridge with a water and ice machine!!

I visited a petting zoo in Elins neighbourhood which was pretty cool. We went to the Golden Circle to see the Geysir which was pretty awesome! You had to wait for it to "blow" but when it did wow it was cool! We then went to Gulfoss which is a beautiful waterfall as it was sunny and there was water coming off the fall it created a rainbow! I got some pretty good pictures!! We then went to the Horse Theatre which show cases the Icelandic Horse and we got to go back stage to the stables after. I found an Icelandic Hope!!

I went On a 3 hour horse ride through the mountains which I loved I got to tolt and gallop. Those little horses have some go in them!!

We went to the movies one evening to see Pitch Perfect 2 and they had a break half way through!!! Very strange!!

I went for a stroll downtown on my last day and it was freezing!! I had 4 layers on!! The weather on the whole wasn't too bad but rather cold!

I didn't see darkness at all while I was there as it doesn't get dark until 12/1am!!!! You could easily stay awake all day!!

Oh I watched a movie on the plane on the way over and it was very strange it was called of horses and men! It was Icelandic and in sub titles so I didnt really know what was happening but 2 horses and 2 men died and a guy killed a horse cut it open and slept in it to keep warm as he was lost in the mountains! Clever idea but disgusting!!!

I had a lot of ice cream while I was there! Icelanders love their ice cream and so I do I so I fitted in well!!

Iceland was great a little cold and rather expensive but I'll be back to see the Northrrn Lights.

My time in Iceland was up and I'm now in Toronto, Canada! I'd only booked my first nights accommodation and the hostel is fully booked tonight so I had a little panic but I'm off to Niagara Falls today and as a little treat I'm staying in the Sheraton!

Last night I had people snoring, fidgeting and showering at 2am!!!!! The shower is right next to my bed! So looking forward to some luxury tonight!

The hostel is pretty cool though my room has an en suite, 2 plugs next to the bed, a lamp for each bed and a little shelf! For those that have stayed in hostels you'll understand what a luxury this is!!
