So I'm in Vancouver! I feel a bit sad actually as this is the final stage of my Canadian adventure!!

The 15 hour bus journey wasn't too bad actually! I slept a lot of the way and the view was amazing! I had a Canadian guy sat next to me who was really nice and we chatted a bit.

We had a 45 minute stop for food so I went to McDonald's and another guy from the bus went to, we got talking and he offered me a lift to my hostel when we got off the bus! He said his wife was picking him up so I felt safe! It was safe as I wouldn't be writing this!! Ha ha it saved me a few dollars which was good.

I pretty much went straight to sleep when I arrived last night.

Today I have been exploring! I was awake at 7 and had my free breakfast! I went to Granville street to go to the moose office and I booked a trip to Whistler it's only 1 night, 2 days. I could have gone on my own but it wasn't much more expensive to do the tour! I should have looked in to the tours a bit more as there is a longer one I should have done which goes to Vancouver Island! I didn't realise it takes 4 hours to get there! I thought it would be just across the water and you'd be able to see it from vancouver! Never mind! I'm going to go for a night and 2 days so I'll still be able to go!

I went to Granville Island which was just across the water! It was really nice. It had a harbour and an actually market!!

I walked there but got the bus back and stumbled upon Gastown which was cool lots of souvenir shops and restaurants. I was told it had cobbled streets but it wasn't like the coronation street cobbles!!

I found Robson street which has lots of lovely shops like Ugg, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Victoria Secrets and loads more!!

I like Vancouver but I feel it's going to be the same as Toronto in respect of finding it hard to meet people!! I've made friends with a German girl Steffi who is in my room and am doing a tour with the hostel tomorrow so will hopefully meet more people then!
