I'm currently 3 hours in to a 15 hour bus ride to Vancouver! It might be a long bus ride but the views so far have been amazing! (See photo) I saw my first bear!! I didn't manage to get a picture though hopefully I'll see another one!

I had a great time in Calgary and ended up staying a day longer than planned.

Yesterday morning I went souvenir shopping with 2 ladies I'd met in the hostel from England.

In the afternoon I headed back to spruce meadows! I got there just in time for a class to start. The prize money for the class was $132,000!!! There were only 8 that went clear and the jump off was so close! It was exciting stuff. It was such a hot day and to beginning with I was sitting on the grass watching but after 20 minutes I needed to get in the grandstand in he shade.

I had to change rooms yesterday which was really annoying. I'd met 2 girls in my room Sophie and Clara from Australia and we got on really well. Luckily I was only in the room opposite. I was put in a mixed dorm and when I went in there was no one in there. Then a guy and his girlfriend came in!! I found out his life story within about 5 minutes. He was telling me how he is the black sheep of the family, does drugs and used to steal from people!!!! Needless to say I made sure my stuff was locked up!! He added me on Facebook straight away but I have now unfriended him!

One of the first things he said to me was don't worry we won't have sex while your in the room!!! So I said that's ok it's been a while I might join in CLEARLY I WAS jOKING!!!!!!!! But being American he didn't get the sarcasm and started asking if I swung both ways and it was ashame I didn't as I could have joined in!!!!!!! I had to share a room with this guy!!! How was I supposed to sleep safely!!! His girlfriends t shirt said 'I love 7 inches in the rear'!!!!!!!!! Wtf!!!!!! I went to go do some dinner and he said to me if you wait I'm going to cook us some pasta you can join us!!! Erm no I don't think so!!!

There were still 2 empty beds in the room and I was praying for 2 pretty girls to take the attention away from me! It ended up being 2 English guys Andrew and Liam. They were really nice and we had a good laugh! I was aiming for that early night again but it never happened as I was up until 12.30 talking to the boys!! I had to be up at 6 this morning to get the bus at 8! My little friend in the room came over to me when I woke up and said he was going to wake me up soon if you wasn't up! God knows how he was planning on doing that!!! Thank god I was only in this room for one night!

I feel sorry for Andrew and Liam who have to put up with him for a few days!! Ha ha (sorry if your reading this boys!
