So we had all aimed to get up in time to see the sun rise, however when we woke up and tried to get up we discovered it was freezing so rather than gettin out of the warmth of our beds we just unzipped the side of our tent and lay there watchin the sun come up, it was really nice! Eventually we managed to pull ourselves out of our beds and got ready for our day hiking!

So today we hiked around 3 gorges; Weano Gorge, Hancock Gorge and Dales Gorge. So 1st we visited Weano Gorge where we decended into the gorge and then climbed in between the really narrow and steep walls to the Handrail Pool. However the last bit to get down to the pool there was a handrail (hence the name) and then a rope to sort of abseil down, but i was really bad at the abseiling part and just ended up sitting on Lukes chest while we all peed ourselves laughing! I did however make it down safely suprisingly! Was gonna go in for a swim but the water was freezing so i only made it to sitting at the end of the pool, but i figured that was good enough!

Our next gorge was Hancock Gorge. We stopped for a wee while in the Amphitheatre for some photos, its a really gorgous place. We then headed through the Spider-Walk, which is a mad walkway which is really narrow and u hav to walk on the walls to get through to Kermit's Pool. Poor Lotte, when we got to the end of the Spider-Walk she totally slipped on the rocks cause they were really slimey, she was ok tho! Didnt go for a swim here either cause like the other pool it was far too cold!!

The last gorge we went to was Dales Gorge. We had a wee look out over Circular Pool where people were having a swim. We then went down into the gorge and hiked along to the stunning Fortescue Falls and then further along to the sacred Abriginal site of the Fern Pool. Me, Lotte, Cato and even Mandy all went in for a swim, it was a bit cold but i was glad that we actually swam in 1 of the pools! We even managed to borrow a noodle from a wee old lady so that Mandy could come in as well!

On the way back we did a quiz hosted by Lotte from the questions on the inside of the beer lids, i ended up winning but mostly through guessing the answers and other people givin me their lids they won cause they couldnt b bothered any more!! When we got back we made a massive BBQ and a few drinks. It was a really awesome day! :)
