Wow that was tough gettin up this morning, could only hav had a few hours sleep. Feelin a little bit rough as well this morning which makes our hike around Kings Canyon even more daunting! Escpecially as the first part we had to climb was called Heart Attack/Cardiac Hill, and it was pretty steep, but we managed it! Clearly its the best way to get over slight hang over! It was pretty awesome walking around there, got some pretty amazing photos! I particularly like the one of us all lyin along the cliff edge lookin over, must admit it was a little bit scary tho!! We also went to a water hole where u could go swimming, but as it was in the middle of canyon it was freezing so most of us decided not to go swimming. However Fiona decided she was just gonna jump on in there the crazy person she is!! We were finished by 11am which was still so early even tho we'd just done a massive walk!

Went back to the camp for some lunch. After me, Annmarie and Celine took a walk down to see about going on a camel ride, ended up seein Evan, RIcky and Dennis and sat chattin with them for a while. Tried to get them to give us a ride back to our camp on the quad bikes but they wouldnt do it :( We actually ended up being late back to the bus so they picked us up on the way out, oops!! Was quite funny sittin on the bus, Evan (the hot cowboy) went past and literally the whole bus was staring at him with our mouths open, hes just that dam hot! So eventually we left and headed off to Alice Springs. However we did take a short cut down a four wheel drive track and man it was bumpy and felt like it was going on for ages!!

When we got to Alice Springs they dropped us all off at the hostels. The hostel me and Fiona were booked into turned out to be in the middle of surburbia! It was quite a nice room, there was only 3 beds in the room which was good so there was only 1 other person in the room along with us. They warned us as well that its not very safe to walk about Alice Springs because of the big groups of Aborigines who walk about and they dont really like white people. Had to repack my rucksack as we were flying out in the morning, my stuff was all red because of the stupid dirt road!

So we all got ready, there were a few other people from the trip in the same hostel, and headed down to Annie's Place for dinner and drinking with the rest of the group. There were quite a few other tour groups there so we all kind of joined together and were drinking in Annie's Place for quite a while. Then we decided to make a move over to Bojangles which is more of a club and carried on the drinking there! It was really good crack and we were havin so much fun! However Derek had told me that he really liked Fiona but she was just like No! but he kept tryin to hit on her and i think she felt pretty uncomfortable and she wanted to leave, so we had to make a move home, was pretty sad sayin bye to everyone :(
