I chose not to write yesterday. There was a lot to process and I wasn't really sure what to write.
Auschwitz museum was incredibly respectful. I'm still not really sure what to write. Perhaps it is something that can only be understood if you've been there.
Last night we had dinner at one of the restaurants in Krakow and enjoyed traditional Polish cuisine. We then wondered into the town centre stopping at an amazing desert place before wondering through the cloth hall markets. One thing we've found is that lots of the souvenir places here actually support locally made products so it was nice to know that what we were buying is actually from Poland.
We hurriedly loaded the car this morning as the police are very willing to handout parking tickets. We then programmed nelly for Czestochowa. Upon approach however we decided it was too busy and too difficult so we headed off in a westerly direction (without Nelly's help). It was interesting and we ended up eating lunch beside a church in a small town.
Nelly led us through some interesting places, i even had a chance to zoom down the motorway. and i mean zoom - 140km/hr. we stopped in at tescos to restock our supply of food and to use their free wifi to book accommodation. It is a gorgeous chateau tonight. It's in the middle of nowhere but an amazing room for half of what we paid last night.
Back into Germany tomorrow.
Onwards and upwards

Jeremy Hey Kirst, I actually think there is value in writing something. Write what you did, thought, saw etc. Even if it isn't for the blog. It is good to be able to come back to and reflect on.
