A Christmas miracle! After a wonderful day with friends and family we went straight to the Fort Lauderdale airport in search of long-term parking. When we arrive at the designated parking lot we find the entrance blocked. A kind gentleman said there were no spaces but he was going to send us to the overflow lot. Today was our first leg of the trip. We traveled from North Carolina to Florida. We encountered rain in every state. We got stuck in traffic only once which isn't bad for traveling on 95 on Christmas eve. We made two stops. First we visited with my aunt Martha, and saw Carol, Kevin, Kyle, and Lauren. Then we stayed with my dear friend DeAnna and her family. Tomorrow we will see my brother and his wife before we head to the airport.
