We took the morning ferry from Santorini to Mykonos. The ferry took about 2 hours. It was a very smooth operation getting people and cars on and off with minimal delay. Top things about Santorini 1. Welcome to Santorini! We arrived to the island yesterday evening via plane from Athens. The flight was approximately 50 minutes compared to an 8 hour ferry. So far we have done a little exploring of our “neighborhood” on the island. The Aegean sea is one side and the mountains on the other.
