Egypt's landscape is amazing, it's the only place in the world where you can see desert and plush farms right next to each other and to see that, with temples and the Nile at sunrise, is one of the most amazingly tranquil things ever. We cruised from Aswan to Luxor over 3 days… this was very nice and chilled. We had buffets for three meals a day, a splash pool on the roof and towel animals in our room every day… From the cruise boat we visited, the High Dam of Aswan, which was built in 1971 to prevent the Nile Floods and then made it necessary to relocate several famous monuments including Temple of Philae (pic) which we visited. You can still see the colours they used in the carvings!...
