Can't really be bothered to write anything as this island has turned me into some kinda comatose, it's amazing how much i can sleep out here!!

apart from lie on the beach all day and take naps we have done some things!! on friday we had a little tour of the island and visited seven wells, (waterfall) crocodile farm, the black sand beach and did a little shopping in Kuah town (where we got some ipod speakers to upset our neighbours!!) i think we have been so lucky with the weather, its been sunny all the time apart from our day out, where it torrential rained for 15mins. we were at the crocodile farm and they gave us umbrellas!!lol. and today, which was fine as well as it just happens in short bursts. and anyway we're british we're used to the rain!!Yesterday Bingo made me go on his jet ski, which was mental and i'm pretty sure he must have broken some kindaspeed law. twas actually shaking when i got off!! had the nicest dinner last night, coconut crusted calamari, then mackeral with a burnt banana and saffron rice. main of the good.

oh yeah and we went to the rice museum yesterday morning which was mega mega boring!!! it looks so posh and well put together, but rice farming just ISN'T that interesting!!

Today we did a tour of the mangroves, which was luckily all on a boat. as we are so lazy now walking is an effort! twas actually quite good, we fed a flock of eagles. there was loads its so weird seeing them all. saw some monkeys (getting to the point now where we're a bit blase. they are everywhere. they especially like to run into the middle of the road when a car comes!) we went to the fish farm, which was quite surreal actually. we had a little tour and fed bread to the 'spitting fish' yeah it spat at us and they jump outta the water and eat the bread off your finger. we was actually MADE to hold the horseshoe crab which is bloody ugly and weird looking and it scratches your hand!! then they tried to make us put fish INSIDE a stringrays mouth. er no thanks. they're so insistent don't think they understand no means no!! they are so weird the stingrays they're mouths are massive like a humans lol. then we went to see the barracudas where the nice man told us they have very sharp teeth an bite. then he said i could touch it ?! i did not!! we went to a crocodile cave, which doesnt actually have any crocodiles. they took them away as they were dangerous and gave them to the crocodile farm. harsh but fair i say! we also went to a bat cave. which STUNK and they was hundreds of bats, jess had the fear they'd bite and we'd get rabies. but they were all asleep, which was good.

its just started to rain again, which is good cause i feel like a nap!! avoiding the beach aswell so we dont see bingo as we stood him up last night and now i feel mega guilty. heartless jess is not so bothered though d: and we did have a rather fun chat with a mental ozzie last night who'd given everythin up to be a fishermen out here!!i got the impression he left oz cause of all the immigrants coming in to 'his country' lol

anyway next time you here from us we'll be in thailand
