This morning I walked to the supermarket, even that was beautiful and made a fruit salad for everyone after kayaking and we spent the rest of the day sunbathing. Woo! We left Airlie today and caught the Oz Bus with our loony driver Annie. Unfortunatly a load of still-drunk-from-the-footie-chavs were also on our bus so it was just slightly raucous to say the least. Today was a great day. I got up early for a run and to enjoy our last day in good old Airlie. Tom and I then read and chilled by the lagoon. I went to the market and spend a ridiculous amount of money on jewellery before grabbing a late lunch with everyone. Some eager beavers (not me!) got up for a snorkel at 6 o'clock this morning before making our way back to Airlie Beach. We were woken extremely early today and had brekkie. We sailed (very bumpily) to Whitehaven Beach. First of all we took a bush walk to see it. I love walking through the bush, this time we licked ants bums! No, I'm not joking, there are these ants which form a bulbus nest with the leaves which hangs on the tree. The aboriginals used them medically. Basically, their bums carry an extremely citricy liquid which you can lick. It is so strong and almost feels like a ...
