We'll after leaving Alice we worked our way through the West McDonnell ranges to a beautiful quiet spot called Palm Valley. We had 2 restful days there and we had a resident Dingo, whom we named Rex, because he was so skinny. We also experienced a gorgeous trek through a pre historic valley with Cycad Palms everywhere.
Next stop was Kings Canyon and we did the entire Rim Walk which took us 2 hrs through ancient rock formations with stunning canyon views.
The next day we had 1 night at Kings Creek Station which had camels and cattle, which the kids loved to pat.
Today we arrived at Uluru and we went for a walk around the base of the rock, and then enjoyed the sunset view of the rock with a glass of red in hand. Now I can tick that one off the bucket list. Tomorrow off to Coober Pedy to find some opals. Hey honey, a necklace would be nice!,
Working our way slowly back to NSW, and will blog soonish.
Love yous all xxx

John Sheldon Hi guys. What an amazing time you had in the Red Centre. Something I've always wanted to do. Your photographs are brilliant. So now to Cooper Pedy. Lots of fabulous Opals. Pauletta, you must get Rob to take you and the kids to the Comfort Inn where the boys stayed when they visited the town, get him to take you where they bought the Digeridoos. Looking to your next Blog. John and Margaret
