We decided to stop over at the seaside town of Lakes Entrance for 2 nights to chill out and relax. The town reminded us of a British seaside town with fish and chips, arcades and crazy golf along the promenade. We indulged in a game of crazy golf and had a walk on the stunning beach (stunning until Kim realised the squishing underfoot was a mass of washed up jellyfish).

We did little else to be honest as the weather turned rainy again and our boat trip on the lakes was cancelled. However we did become the recipients of a free fish.... a King Dorey to be precise... We got talking to a fisherman who proudly showed us photos of his fishing trawler and then gave us a fish he had caught and filleted in Antarctic waters! Very tasty done on the BBQ with a little chilli oil (also donated by the fisherman!)
