Kim and Mark on their travels!
After saying our fond farewells to Trevor and Kath we headed off on the Great Ocean Road, believed to be one of the most scenic roadtrips in the world. The drive certainly was stunning and the rain held off to allow us to view the stunning cliffs and crashing waves in their full glory. Rock formations like the 12 apostles, London Bridge and the Bay of Islands were worth the visit, though we had to dodge the masses of Japanese tourists who thronged 6 deep at every attraction.
Interestingly many of the towns in this area seem to be named after English towns. In the last few days we have been through Peterborough, Anglesea, Rye and Cowes and have seen whats left of London Bridge (part of it collapsed in 1990 - very sad)!
