Yes guys you've sussed us we are writing all these entries at the same time. As usual we are playing a little bit of catch up. This one however, is up to date as we are still in Hoi An. The train, which was an adventure in itself took us as far as Danang and we then got a taxi, having been bombarded by sweaty taxi drivers wanting our business...nice, from Danang to Hoi An. Our carriage on the train we shared with two Vietnamese ladies, who kept trying to feed us food we didnt recognise and a Vietnamese male. We were on the tiniest bunks ever and I think if we said we got two hours sleep I might be exaggerating. We were then taken to Phuoc Anh hotel by the taxi driver where Lacey managed to bargain with the hotel and got the hotel for $30 for two nights instead of $35 per night, good work. We were given a lovely room although it was very noisey. The hot shower and comfy bed compensated though. Hoi An has completely restored our faith in Vietnam, the people are friendly and helpful and the old quarter around the river is beautiful. Jen and Tim you need to come here, with an empty suitcase, as you are surrounded by amazing tailors on every corner. We were even brave enough to borrow pushbikes and cycled the 5km to the beach, our second sea swim in three days. We have totalld chilled here, drinking beer costing 3000dong, 10p, has helped and we are now preparing for a sleeper bus to Nha Trang for hopefully some more beach chilling before to the chaos of Ho Chi Minh City. We are nearly three months in and it is so lovely hearing news from home guys so thank you. Apologies for the infrequency of contact we are emailing and blogging as otfen as we can and unfortunately our mobiles have minds of their own. Sim4travel is not all its cracked up to be. We are thinking of you all lots, take care and lots of love Kim and Hattie xx
