We got a Greyhound bus from Surfers to Byron Bay, it only took about an hour. After checking in to the hostel we walked to the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. It was up the biggest hill ever and we were knackered by the time we got there. But it was worth it. There is also a lighthouse up there, we walked back down a different way, which was like a forest. In the evening we went to see Spiderman 3, which was awful - don't ever see it. While waiting for the film, we went to a bar and a strange guy was talking to us as it was the album launch of his band.

The next day we went to the beach, managed to get our tans back which was good before New Zealand. Then we got a coach and then an overnight train back to Sydney.
