October 5 - Drive to Albuquerque

We left Las Vegas heading east towards Albuquerque. Shortly in to our drive we detoured over to Route 66. In a few different towns the businesses were left exactly how they would have been in the fifties.

In the late afternoon we were standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, there was a girl my lord, in a flat bed Ford painted on the brick wall. There was also a 1950's real flat bed Ford parked in front of the wall, as well as 2 bronze statues.

After dinner we bedded down for the night at the local State Park.
