21st april - 26th April

Had a busy couple of days trying to do most things in Singapore. Had a day exploring, and more shopping on Orchard Road then headed to the Night Safari. We both thought it was pretty impressive and quite scary! Couldn't really see the divide between us and the animals! Walked through a room filled with massive bats!! luckily they weren't flying around though (and didn't go for my hair Gem!!)

Spent the next day in Sentosa Island. Really nice place but quite strange as all the beaches and everything was so man-made. Found Kev shark friends in the aquarium and then the lucky b***** got to swim with the pink dolphins! (Gez was only just a bit jealous!) Although Kev did have to hula hoop in front of the crowd before he could get in the water! he was better at it than the 10 year old girl though which is more embarrassing!!

Went for (very expensive) food at Clarke Quay, really nice place full of bars and restaurants by the river, bit too pricey for our travelling budget though! Next night went to Raffles Hotel where we had a famous Singapore Sling!  

Headed to get our flight to Bali after 3 nights of not alot of sleep thanks to the loudest snorer in the world! An old guy was staying in the dorm and no ear plugs or pillow over the heads, could block out his snoring!
