Hi all, firstly thanks for all your messages. It's hard to keep track of what we have done as done so much!! so I'll try and keep it brief!!!

Firstly arrived on Sunday morning after a ten and half our flight we made our way to Bangkok. An unbelivable place, really busy and quite built up. They have manage to capture the old and the new quite well with old temples and then modern buildings too. We arrived at our hotel which was in a great central location. that night we went out to get something to eat and then out for a night out!!! It's thai new year over here at the moment so to celebrate this they believe everyone should be cleansed so they pour water all over you to clean you!!! So you are out ready for a night out and then someone throws water all over you and then covers you in flour!!! There are massive street parties and it's an unbelievable atmosphere.

It's very humid here and extremely hot. We spent the following day walking around bangkok going to temples, palaces and local markets. Some photos uploaded for you to see.

Monday night we caught a sleeper train to Surat thani. It was a 12hr journey and what can only be described as an experience!!! but somehow we manage to get some sleep then took a boat trip to Koh Samui where we are now staying.

Yesterday we went elephant trekking which was amazing so much fun. They are quite sturdy yet you still feel like you're going to fall off but so funny!!! We also went to see the big buddah, grandmother and grandfather rock and had a relax around our beach hut. It's really idillic here absolutely beatiful. On the night we went into the local town in the back of a truck!!! Here we ate on the beach and then went for some cocktails and some late night retail therapy!!!

Today we have lazed around on the beach and just tried to take it all in. it's been so action packed I can hardly take it all in.

Tomorrow we head back to the mainland to Khao Sok National Park. Where we are going on a canoe trip through the Jungle!!!
