Well we arrived in Australia and it has been non stop action and fun. apologies for a lack of updates but haven't had the chance. So here is a whistle stop tour!!! We started off in Melbourne and satyed in place caleed St Kilda which was really funky and quirky, we has some fabulous meals and it was so nice to have a change from the rice and noodles we had become acustomed to!!! Also found a row of famous cake shops!!! which we had to indulge ourselves on fruit tartlets and custard canales!!!! We picked up and Oz experience tour from Melbourne and headed towards Sydney. We went down to Wilsons prom which is a national park and we managed to get really close to Kangaroos and Emus even saw a dead Wombat!!! So amazing to get close to such these animals in the wild. Wilsons prom is Australias most southernly point of the mainland. We then moved on to Lakes entrance where we saw an amazing sunrise. We also went to a place called squeaky beach which had a lot of silicon in the sand which made it squeak as we walked on it. we then went to Jindabyne and climbed some hills ( which seemed very similar to Wales!!) I also managed to fall in the river!! We then cleebrated Anzac day with locals in a pub on the evening. From here we went to Sydney through Canberra and saw parliament (which was if I'm being honest pretty boring!!! But hey was only an hour or so!!!!) We then went to Sydney and it was amazing!!!! Unbeleivable. We went to Darling Harbour had a wonderful meal then went onto the opera house and had some champers overlooking the harbour bridge. The following day we joined our Contiki tour and started heading up the East Coast. Our first stop was Port Stphens which was a beautiful place quite small but with a fairly large marina, it had a really holiday atmosphere and some great seafood places. We then spent the day relaxing and shopping. From here we went to Surf camp at Coiffs harbour, we had so much fun learning to surf!!! I kind of managed to get up but overall spent a lot more of my time falling off but all in all it was brilliant. On the night we sat around a camp fire and actually stayed in freight containers like the army do!! Again another great experience!! We the went on to Byron bay where we spent some time looking around the place which again was quite quirky. We also visisted a wildlife sancturary where we managed to hold a koala which was wonderful!!! I loved it. Then Tulaines aunty Gwennie and Carl met us at the nature place and took us back to their beautiful home in a place called Nimbin. So here we are being spoilt in an amazing place. we will be going down to the village of Nimbin later to have a look around then later on this evening we will join back on the tour and go to Surfers paradise this and then onto Fraser Island tomorrow. It's really non stop but great fun!!!.
