Venice was the last stop on our tour. It is made up of a group of islands around a lagoon and a mainand area.Apparently Venice is no longer sinking ( well other than at the same rate as everywhere else!) Travel anywhere was by boat. We had a fun ride on a gondala ( I think Glenn was worried it might tip over) and a tour by water taxi at night. The next day we went to the Murano glass factory and bought some beautiful glasses and then had a lovely lunch at Burano. ( Did a bit of shopping there too!!) Our amazing hotel was on an island all of its own and was very posh. Glenn enjoyed the free lollies in reception. ( I did too of course).
