Sat 21st and we joined the great Christmas getaway. To get to the pacific highway we had to go back towards Sydney before heading north. Today took us through/under Sydney inland slightly into the Blue mountains. Our hottest day so far, 38 degrees doesn't feel too hot in an air conditioned car but we felt it when we stopped for a break. Time is flying and the temperatures and petrol prices are rising as we move northwards. On wednesday we caught the bus into Sydney from Sea Shells our Bondi appartment. Craig and Aimee gallantly climbed the Sydney harbour bridge a two hour climb after an hour of kitting up. After a morning swim in the pool at the campsite we got in the car and headed of towards our new destination of Bondi. And about 2 hours of singing later we stopped at Lake Tabourie Beach. Sapphire Coast After an early morning start we hit the Princes highway north for the longest drive of our trip.
