To start my journey, I flew for 8 hours in a huge plane called an Airbus. It had 2 levels on it! It stopped in Singapore where I had to wait for 6 hours! There was a lot to do in the airport such as walking, shops and a butterfly farm!
Then I got on another Airbus to travel to Frankfurt, Germany. I had 2 hours here before boarding a smaller plane to finally land in London. It took about 24 hours of travel. I was very tired.
Southampton is an hour and a half south of London. This is the port from which the famous and tragic ship, The Titanic, left. Also soldiers left from here to fight in France during World War Two.
Nearby is a small historic town called Winchester. It is considered the oldest town in England. The famous author, Jane Austen, died and was buried here. Some people believe that this town was Camelot where King Arthur and the Round Table lived!
Next I travelled to London. There are many famous sites in London: Buckingham Palace, Winchester Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tower of London.
