This morning, we bought tickets from a machine at Clarke Quay and caught an MRT (subway train) to Harbour Front. After a look around to observe the cruise ship operation, we found our way to the Cable Car Ticketing office which is at the base of a tall high rise building. After breakfast in the hotel, we set off on foot along the river. There was a good walkway all the way with numerous under-passes to save crossing too many roads.We stopped for selfies at the Merlion Statue, along with hundreds of others, and continued around the marina to the Marina Bay shopping centre. Had less than 2 hours between flights at Dubai. Time passed really quickly. The airport seemed bigger and more impressive this time as we had to go down and up in large elevators and catch a train between terminals. Boarded Emirates flight EK432 Boeing 777-300ER Rego A6-EGT at 11pm for departure at 11:30pm but didn't start taxiing until midnight. We arrived in Singapore around 7:45pm. The next flight to London, Qantas QF31 was meant to leave at Midnight but was delayed about an hour. As there were 4 of us travelling together, we had chosen to sit in the central 4 seats of the 747. As the galley was behind us, the seats weren't too bad in that you could recline without affecting anyone.
