In the morning we caught a boat back to Old Venice and watched a glass blowing demonstration at Murano Glass. We then had some free time so we climbed the bell tower in St Marks Square which provided some amazing views of Venice. Only problem was that it was absolutely freezing! - the coldest I have ever been. My fingers were so numb that I had trouble operating the camera to record the spectacular views. However, I forced myself to stay up there for the bell...

Today we crossed the alps into Italy. We visited Verona and saw Juliette's balcony before continuing to Venice. We caught a water taxi to St Marks Square, had some time to explore and then took a Gondola ride along the canals with musicians singing on the boat in front which was an amazing experience. Then it was back by boat to the bus park and Francesco drove us back to the Hotel Il Burchiello which was some way from Old Venice.
