Well have only been on my own since 6am but have not heard the balus [plane] go yet and have already got a broken lock on the fly screen!!! At least the main door lock is OK just a bit annoying. Hadn't intended to go to the airport but as we suspected the luggage would be very over weight we decided I'd go with a cheque and cash just in case as kina is of no use to Ken. Here we are at the Chapel on Sunday having a farewell for Ken who they still call Kevin!!! We had taken pizzas, cokes and a huge cake covered in rather garish icing as a thank you to them. But they had also organised some food! Amazing what can happen in a week! Last Monday we came back to the office and met with Karen the Country Director. By Thursday we heard that VSO London wouldn't agree to her proposal.
