Back on the air-conditioned coach today to visit the most southern point of Africa prior to arriving in Capetown. Seemed like a very long drive just to achieve this, but I think the fact that I have sat on the truck for 16 weeks now means that my tolerance level has decreased to long drive days.
Cape Agulhas was however very pretty and I am glad that we went. It is the geographical most southern tip of Africa and the official meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans - not that you could really see the meeting of the two bodies of water. Even putting my feet in on either side did not see me notice any difference between the temperature or feel of the water.
There was of course a sign and so some shots stood on the sign were of course taken. Computer not playing today and so can't upload them, but they will be here soon!
Finally reached Capetown tonight. 113 days we have been on the road, it really did feel like an accomplishment to finally hit the destination that we have been talking about for 4 months!
