Well Tonga time has ended it was a long road from July when we first thought of visiting this small Kingdom. it was worth the wait! The Tongans were fine hosts and their country beautiful. I would have never expected the blow holes to be so numerous and engaging. Sail the islands of the Vava'U group will squeeze the stress out of anybody. If you have never seen the Milky Way in the southern hemisphere you should do it at least once and in a dark spot like a sailboat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Trying to stay ahead of cyclone Wilma we boarded our plane only hours before the airport closed. Landing in Nadi Fiji we were hot and quickly rented a car to head to our hotel. Lucky for us we rented an old Japanese junker station wagon so I got behind the wheel on the left hand side of the road to practice my road rage. Being on vacation I kept that in tune as we were tailgated all the way to the resort. I guess they thought I was some tourist so they would intimidate me a little, please I drive in New York City your all amateurs!
Well we have decided to veg out here at the resort for a couple of days as we lucked into a InterContinental Resort on hotel points usually $450 a night to start we are comped! So without much to do we will be flying out to Samoa on Friday night I will try and upload a few more pictures and videos while we have this sweet Internet service. Thanks for reading!
