Blue Lagoon Today we went on a day trip to blue lagoon. Neil didn't sleep much and was still pretty sick. Blue lagoon was beautiful. A perfect day with clear blue skies and ocean. The snorkelling gear we borrowed from Nabua lodge wasn't very good but we laid on the beach and swam in the clear blue ocean. We walked to the resort for a cocktail and game of scrabble. Our last Morning in Korovou and Ziggy even made that fun. We had breakfast, cereal and pineapple and checked out. Then ziggy suggested we go find something in the sea. It was Amanda's birthday today the same day as Georges at home. Breakfast was at 8pm and i had cereal and pineapple and cup of tea. At 10am was a Fijian cooking lesson for $25. I watched the chef marinate Spanish mackerel in lime juice and make coconut milk from scratch. Up early for a Fijian scone (steamed coconut milk dumpling) and cup of tea for breakfast. We had to check out at 9am and wait for the boat on the hammocks to pick us up at 10:30. Last night there was a heavy storm. We woke up and watched the lightening and can hear the waves crashing below. Our hut kept us dry but our walking shoes got soaked as we left them on the porch.
