Wednesday
I woke feeling like absolute death. The free vodka and Canter's meal repeating on me violently! The stodgy potato and chicken fillet suffocating me as it came back up! I laid on the bed while Neil went to get his iPod fixed! I attempted to shower while being sick and changed and went for the usual breakfast of honey nut loops and toast which i didn't eat!

Today I was meeting my cousin Kuya Nonong and his wife Ate Fay (who i hadn't met before) and I needed to be more presentable than I felt. Kuya Nonong moved here from the Philippines 4 months ago. They picked us up in there air-con Honda and all was better. They suggested lunch before sight seeing so we went for Thai as I was craving rice and couldn't face chips,burgers or anything bread based. The Thai restaurant looked like a cafe and close to Burbank Blv where Kuya and Ate lived. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, pad Thai, satay, sticky rice and BBQ pork. Everything was really tasty but yet again huge portions which was lucky we were sharing. The Tom Yum was my favourite and made me feel better but I struggled with the rest so it was boxed up (in oriental american style boxes) and we took half for our dinner! Kuya and Ate paid which meant we didn't need to buy food for the day thank youuu!

We dropped Ate Fay back to their lovely 2 bed apartment, with communal swimming pool, gated parking and the most comfy sofas.

After googling the Hollywood Sign we drove through Hollywood and up through the hills past huge houses and the Greek Theatre (Get Him To Greek) to the The Griffin Observatory.

I took the camera I got for Christmas out of its case to capture the beautiful views and it ran out of battery! Gutted!

If I was in a better state a hike up to the sign would of been great! We took lots of pictures walked around the observatory and then headed back to Hollywood Blv. We got to see the stars on the pavement in daylight, the Dolby theatre, the Chinese theatre and the handprints! The street performers and lookalikes, a donation a photo.

A good day of tourist sight seeing being chauffeured by your cousin was perfect after the worst morning hangover!
