After a 10 hour flight we gained time! After 2 hours getting out of the airport because of a Ham sandwich we got to the hostel at 5pm and went to explore Fairfax. Fairfax seems to consist of predominately Jewish bakeries, eateries and thrift shops. Desperate for a Mojito we stopped in a bar/restaurant in The Grove which is an outside mall which has an odd Disneyland feeling. We stayed for one drink (an $11 atp mojito) and strolled back stopping in the Rosewood Tavern (English themed pub lol). Getting peckish but being slightly confused by the time difference made us indecisive but we settled on a pizza. Sharing a large spinach and pepperoni was a winner! The seasonings provided on the table of parmesan, chilli flakes and pepper made the perfect pizza. The pizza place was dark and comfy with a miss match of posters. The pizza was huge as expected but the remaining two slices were boxed up for a snack the next day! All in all a perfect first meal in LA!
