Hi Kris Glad that you finally made it to China. That guy on the flight sounded like a right twerp. Imagine if Peter was on the same flight - it would not have been pretty! Sounds like you are both having a great time - but yep, you are a woss about the food- try the noodles! Send some pics of the great wall - would love to see it for myself. Hi mum and dad yeah we are in alleyways but not dodgy just the original alleyways in china with lots of street stalls etc hostel is ok very basic and freezing outside heating is on different hours in the day but bathroom isnt that good and were not in the central part but its quite nice really xxx

Hi Kris That must have given you a shock if you thought you saw me on plane to Singapore. I hope it wasn't the big a...... you were getting heated with. They say everyone has a double somewhere and that must have been mine. China is a bit cold this time of year I think so you wrap up warm. I noticed your tan straight away when I saw the last photos in NZ but you won't be able to flash it in China. Take care. Love Aunty Pat

Looked at the hostel great reviews, customer service excellent, not a bad word has been said, also nice & warm in the host or so fellow trav say, loads of character, looks like u have chosen a gem. Have a wonderful time, looks a very exciting city, will u ever want to come home? Dad says as it is an alley r u sure it's not next door to a knocking shop/parlour like the last alley u stayed in. Hi Kris where are you now? Hear tell you were off to China so i hope you are enjoing that. I keep looking at stuff on our company intranet for all the places we can go to on the cheap - travel industry stuff for which we qualify - and in spare moments dream of all the place I could visit before I retire. See what you and Kate started! Saw Mum and Dad and Nan and Granddad a couple of weeks ago when I went down home - they all seem well but I know Mum and Dad, although proud enough to burst, really miss you.
