Hi Kris Sorry no messages for a while. They were doing something with the website which meant that your journal wasn't available and then both Uncle Maurice and I have collected really bad viruses. Thank goodness we decided not to go and see Nanny and Granddad when it first started because they couldn't have coped. We still feel really bad.
Glad to see you made it to New Zealand and have transport. The Kiwis like to call NZ Tolkein country now but don't you believe it - Tolkein lived and wrote his books set in Shropshire. Just because they made a couple of films there!
You take care and enjoy!

Hi Aunty Pat, you should definately include the Cook Islands if you want to travel its a lovely place. Am glad to hear that it runs in the family wont be trying anything like that again!!!! Glad you have received the postcards xx
Pat
Hi Kris - thanks for the TWO cards received a few days ago. Hope the flight to Cook Island wasn't too scary after all. It sounds fabulous and when I go on my backpacking trip - don't mock! - will try and make it part of the itinerary.
We as a family were never very good in the water although I managed to find some sea-legs in the Thames Estuary and the Crouch eventually but I never could stand the water getting into my eyes and nose when I was swimming.
Sounds like you are having a great time. Take care. Love Aunty Pat
