Well i love hong kong its alot more modern and there is loads to do, were staying in a horrible building but the room is nice and am loving it in hong kong! We explored our area over the first few days and found all the shops etc and a pub with great food only annoying thing is that the prices are more western than asian prices but thats ok. We arrived here as a passing through point to get the bus to Hong Kong stayed in an ok hostel we had to sleep in 2 single rooms though which was odd as havnt slept by myeslf for 6 months but we sort of followed to guys from a hostel in Xian here and goin to Hong Kong tomorrow yipee

we got the train from shanghai and had soft seats which was nice didnt take to long to get there then we got to the hostel-bit hippyish but thats ok, we were actually for a change centrally located so we only had to go left out the door and there was the main shopping street and all the markets etc. We even found a market that sold in tiny cages about the size of a bag of sugar rabbits, kittens, puppies and even pigs! They were really cute but so cruel god knows ...

Well we arrived at Beijing train station to get the train and there were hundreds of people there was well scarey no signs of english speaking people or signs anyway we made it to our train and it was packed and we found our carriage and beds we went for soft sleeper so would be in a compartment that sleeps 4, we were SO lucky we didnt have to share with anyone even though the train was packed so we had a nice night was noise with people next door so i can imagin...
