We decided to relax in Rayong for beach time. It's about 2.5 hours from Bangkok. We took the sky train, minibus and a taxi to get to the resort. The hotel and view were worth the adventure. The hotel suggested we go to Kho Samet for a day trip. Their beach is a little softer and they have a market, etc... We're on this boat to get to the island now. It only costs us $200 Baht round trip which is about $6.50US. We watched them load up a whole restaurant's worth of supplies before we took off. The sea is pretty choppy right now, so I'm writing this now to keep my stomach from rolling too. The island is lovely, so also worth the boat ride adventure.
