We've had a busy few days travelling.
Paris was beautiful on top of the Eiffel tower at night however appears quite dirty and rubbishy when you walk it's main strips by day. We went to the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre Dame and The Louvre. The Notre Dame is the most beautiful gothic style building I have seen to date thus currently my favorite.
I headed to Moulin Rouge in the evening while Andrew caught up with Tas. Moulin Rouge was a great show and well worth it. They had great costumes, music and entertainment. The male dancers were very amusing to watch.
The next day we headed through to our French chateau for a one night stop over on the way to Barcelona.
Barcelona was beautiful. Clean, old and new all in one. We drank Sangria and hit the town the first night. On Day 2 we went for a stroll down the main street and had a look at the local market which had great fresh fruits as well as alcoholic beverages like sangria and mojita to buy in the middle of the day. That evening we headed out for a 4 course Spanish meal and flamenco show. my ankle hurt just watching them stomp around but it was awesome to see for our Barcelona fairwell.
All food so far at hotels etc has been good.
We are now back on the road for an all day drive to Nice, France.
Italy is only days away. Yay!
