Venice = gorgeous. To get to Venice we had to catch a boat in for the day. It is a beautiful city with the canals going each and every way. We tried some Italian Beverages. Some very bad = spritz and some very delicious but potentially sneaky up on you type drink bring Scgropino. This was vodka and lemon sorbet. We had a bottle if preseco whilst taking a gondola ride. It was nice not to worry about cars. We visited the beautiful basilica. The pope had been there the day prior. We also walked through the bridge of sighs and dungeon. Our meal that evening was food after food after food. Too much food. Also picked up the last of Mudgees birthday present.

Florence was just one night but very pretty. We took a walking tour and saw the various sculptures. The famous statue of David by Michaelango was there. That evening we had a meal at a restaurant nestled into the Tuscan hills. Gorgeous! Our entertainment was a meat loaf lookalike. I do have video footage that you'll laugh at with me. Afterwards we hit the Space Electronic Disco for some drinks and dancing. The next day was not so great. Andrew skipped the disco but did see all the hookers lined up along the street on the way back.

The next day we went to the Leaning Tower of Pisa on our way to Rome. It was definitely leaning but very busy along with everything else in Italy.

We are currently going into our 2nd night in Rome. Yesterday we walked through and saw the Pantheon and a few famous fountains before heading to dinner. Yesterday everyone was exhausted so most people had an early night including us. Today we took a tour of the Vatican which was great before waiting for a long time for some good pizza. We then visited the Colleseumn and the Forum which has partial remains of old Rome. Now it's nap time before Andrew and I have a private dinner tonight.
