Hey guys im currently lying on my sunlounger just outside our sweet little bungalow next to the pool overlooking the sea! This is the life! Well we have had another very successful week! The songkran was epic and very very wet! Definatly glad it only lasted for two days being that wet all the time soon loses its appeal! We met the lads on the first day of the songkran and had a good night out drinking dancing and getting extremely wet! Clubbing in soaking wet clothes is definatly an experience! We also had another couple of good nights out drinking and dancing and amy even held a baby chimp! On our last night we enjoyed a nice meal out... Lasagne and an early night!

We got up at 6am on sat to get our taxi to the airport and then flew to samui on the smallest plane ever! I think the bus into town holds more people! Samui airport was really nice all little huts very strange for an airport! We headed to a transfers desk where we were directed to a mini bus and gave them our hotel name! We pilled in with about 10 other beach and went to the short to cheweng beach we were the first stop and got out to see some very strange looking apartments where a man came out and took our stuff around to reception! This looked plesent enough and we sorted things out and then got led up to our so called "modern apartment" well we got led through a shop and up some back stairs before being shown to a smelly old fashioned prison cell with the so called kitchenette being a basin and a microwave! Well straight away i went down and complained i asked for us to b moved to one of tge rooms you could see when you first arrived which all looked ok from the outside! The rude lady informed me that altjoigh they were part of the same company we couldnt do this as we had paid for an apartment through that part of the company and we couldnt swap! Well i wasnt shy and told her we wamted oir money back which she insisted they could not do so u asked her to phone her manager which she did! I ingormed him we werng happy witj oir room and would b happy to see the other types of rooms and swap if we liked them! I was once again told this was not posdible! After quite a heated disvussion the manager agreed to a 50% refund! I collected amy from the prison cell and told her what had happened! We asked to see the othet rooms which were just as bad so we took it upon ourselfs to look for another hotel! We were on a road full of hotels and looked at a few before finding samui laggon bay! Well this was a collection of rooms and bungalows set in what we like to call a jungle! We asked to see the rooms and bungalows and explained what had happened. Well the room was ok but she then led us down a small path and we caught site of the bright blue sea and white sand and we were sold before we even saw the bungalow! We got shown a bungalow about 4 steps from the pool 6 from the bar and 10 from the beach! The bungalow is really sweet not as nice as some of the modern places we have staywd but with a balcony and the view. What else do you need!!
We agreed on a price and got her down ti a price within our buget and agreed to take it, headed back to the "modern apartments" collected our belongings and informed reception we were leaving and asked for our 50% another phone call to the manager who informed me no cash was there so we would have to collect it tomorrow! We moved all our luggage down the road and cjecked in! Both took quick showers due to the sweatness of carrying our luggage around in the heat and took the 10 steps to the beach! Well i was straight in that sea it was amazing, warm and clear amy was more dubious but she had a little paddle! We found sunlougers and settled down! Mine right in the sun amys more shaded and due to our early start both fell asleep! We i thought i was sunburt a week ago! That was nothing i can now barley move my legs!! We headed out a bit later and found a nice relitvely cheap resturant whete could enjoy some proper thai food! Toastie for amy burger for me! And enjoyed 3 football matches whilsy drinking chang! Real girls we are! We headed to monkey bay and found ourself at a techno beach party where i suspect everyone was on more than vodka redbull! We had a little dance before heading home!

Today we ensured we collected our money and have spent the day by the pool caitious of the sun!! Were missing you all lots but were definatly loving it now! We may even try and be more adventurious with the food tonight.....
