Well we are enjoying our 9th and final night on our trusty balcony with more football and more chocolate! We have had a really chilled out week just spending time by the pool and topping up our tans and enjoying the comfort of our balcony in the evenings! We put an end to the drinking binge which started a good few weeks before we even left for thailand and continued until we left chaweng beach! Lamai has been lovely and really hot! We went for a trip to tesco last sat a 2 km walk there and back again carrying lots of shopping! We stocked up our fridge with bread, cheese and ham which enabled us to make our own lunch daily and helped us save a bit of money! Weve managed to really budget our money this week which helps considering how much we spent without realising in the first 3 weeks! We have eaten in some lovely resturants and enjoyed an amazing pizza buffet where they kept bringing massive stone baked pizza to your table until you were so ful you couldnt move! We also found a lovely beacb hut where i enjoyed jerk chicken and tonight we enjoyed food from the street stalls which was really yummy! We never made it to the full moon we contemplated getting the speed boat out but a storm on wednesday which never really cleared till the following day soon put us off! Im pretty sure monsoon season has arrived as we had another day of rain today so we kept ourselfs occupied with cards and books! We are now re reading our books as we have finished our own and each others! Hoping to get some cheap ones in oz! Were off to bangkok for 2 nights in the morning so were hoping the situation with the red shirts has got a bit better as were hoping to do a bit of shopping! Then off to oz on tuesday! Very excited......
